Based on its vision, mission and policy, the GZB wants to act with integrity and be transparent in its communication to the outside world. The GZB takes comments and complaints about our work and communication very seriously. We handle every verbal or written complaint as well as possible.
If you have a complaint, we first offer you the possibility of complaint support and complaint mediation. You can read how this works in our internal complaints procedure, which can be downloaded from the website. Our aim is to resolve a complaint as quickly as possible in consultation between the complainant and the person involved within our organisation.
Internal complaint handling
If possible, complaints will be dealt with directly by telephone or in writing, but at the latest within ten working days. Depending on the content, the subject and the seriousness of the complaint, the complaint will be dealt with by the team leader or the management. Our confidential advisor can also play a role in this. More information about the internal complaints procedure can be found on the GZB website.
Independent complaints committee
Our aim is to resolve a complaint as quickly as possible in consultation between the complainant and the person involved within our organisation. If you are unable to resolve your complaint in this way, you can turn to the independent complaints committee.
The regulations of the complaints committee can be consulted on the GZB website.
Each complaint will be registered on the appropriate complaint form, stating the name, (e-mail) address and telephone number of the complainant. Complaints and answers are always included in the complaints register.
The GZB attaches great value to the integrity of employees in dealing with colleagues, the people in the field and in the municipalities. You can read the policy of the GZB via our website. Despite our efforts, there is a possibility that someone's boundaries may be crossed by a GZB employee. You can then contact a manager within the GZB. Names and e-addresses can be found on this website. Employees of the GZB can contact the confidential advisor. If necessary, you can use the contact form to make an anonymous report of your complaint. We do, however, ask you to state your telephone number so that we can discuss the content of the complaint with you and offer you the support you need.
