LATIN AMERICA – Serving Church
Focus in Latin AmericaGZB supports the church in reaching out to those people who live in difficult circumstances, like violence, addiction and broken families.
Life is not always easy in the big cities of Latin America. Poverty and crime statistics are high, and many people suffer from addictions and violence. The Protestant churches – a minority in a predominantly Roman-Catholic society - play an important role in helping those people who suffering from these problems. Mission workers support churches to develop their diaconal role in society. In this way, we jointly contribute to a world in which people live according to God’s desire.
